Waxahachie, TX- The Generals move to 0-3 to start the 2023-2024 season after a 113-82 loss to the Lions of Southwestern Assemblies of God University.
Despite only trailing by 7 at half-time, the Generals could not come back from the 65 points put up by the Lions in the second half of play. The Lions were also able to capitalize off fouls from the Generals, as they went 35-39 from the free-throw line.

Kashie Natt remained solid against all odds as he recorded his second double-double of the season with 23 points and 12 rebounds. Natt went 9-14 from the field and 5-6 from the free throw line. Another big player for the Generals,
JT Curry, came off the bench delivering 21 points and lead in assist with five.
Next up the Generals will be meeting back up with the Blue Devils of Dillard at home in The Fort. The two teams recently met in New Orleans as the Generals dropped a hear tbreaker in the final seconds of the game, but there's no place like home, so come out and support on November 21
st. Tip-off is set for 7:30 PM.
