Generals Victorious in Rematch with Dillard

ALEXANDRIA, LA-The men's basketball team was back at home in The Fort for a rematch with the Blue Devils from Dillard University. In the previous matchup, between the two teams, the Generals fell 70-72, in a close one within the last two minutes of the game. However, the Generals made a statement at home coming out victorious with the 82-71 win. 
 
Senior, JD Allen, led the way with 20 points on the night capitalizing on going 9-10 from the free-throw line and 5-13 from the field. Ej McQuillan, freshman from Port Allen, was right behind Allen with 18 points of his own. Natt, Howard, and Perry were also in double digits. 
 
The Generals were able to score 30 of their 82 points off forced turnovers on the Blue Devils.
 
Next up for the Generals will be the start of Red River Athletic Conference play as they take on the Pilots of LSUS. Game time in Shreveport, LA is set for 7:30 PM on November 30th.
