Generals Advance to RRAC Tournament Finals

TEXARKANA, TX-The Generals have continued their run in the Red River Athletic Conference Tournament advancing to the finals after defeating the Gold Nuggets of Xavier University, 2-0. 
 
The Generals scored both goals in the girst half of play. Remmie Ferla added her 17th goal of the season chipping one in past Xavier's defense. Then to close out the first half, Alexia Bermejo assisted newcomer, Pauline Gockeritz in her goal to put the Generals ahead 2-0.
 
Ironically enough, on the road to finals, the Generals have met up with the only teams that they lost to in the regular season, so continuing the road to redemption, the Generals will meet up with the Pilots of LSUS for the finals. 
 
Kick off between the Generals and Pilots will be on Saturday, November 11th at 1:00 PM on the campus of Texas A&M-Texarkana.
