ALEXANDRIA, LA- The women's basketball team had a chance to show out in front of the home crowd and show out is exactly what they did. Taking on the Mustangs of University of the Southwest, the Generals dominated in a 76-50 victory moving to 5-2 overall and 2-1 in RRAC play.
 
Starting off the first period strong, the Generals scored 24 points compared to the Mustangs' 10, giving them a strong early lead and kept the momentum going as they played team ball, balancing in scoring. 
 
Amani Gray led with 14 points, going perfect from the free-throw line and 5-12 from the field. Martin-Hartwick also drained in four 3-point shots on the night along with a couple of other east buckets for 12 points on the night. Three other Generals were also in double digit figures. 
 
The Generals will now turn their attention to Paul Quinn College as they continue Red River Athletic Conference Play. Game time is set for 2:00 PM on Saturday, December 16, here at The Fort.
