ALEXANDRIA, LA- The Generals met up with the Pilots for the second time of the 22-23 season for more conference action. Previously when the Generals met up with the Pilots at The Dock, they fell short by only 4 points, and were looking to defend the Fort but a strong 3
rdĀ quarter was not enough for the Generals to pull of the win, dropping this one 50-57.

The first quarter of play was a tight one with both the Generals and Pilots trading baskets going into the 2
ndquarter with the Pilots only leading 17-13. However, the Pilots defense stepped up in the 2
ndĀ quarter holding the Generals to only 2 points scored during those 10 minutes of play.Ā

Coming out of half-time the Generals trailed the Pilots 28-15, but the game wasn't over for them just yet. The Generals were able to tighten the game during the 3
rdĀ quarter as they outscored the Pilots 21-12 going into the last 10 minutes of play only trailing 40-36. With 5:44 left in the 4
thĀ quarter,
Raegan Ojoro was able to hit a game tying layup putting the score at 46-46. As the back-and-forth action between the two teams continued, the Pilots were able to take advantage of free throws to seal the win over the Generals.Ā

Raegan Ojoro was able to lead the Generals with another double-double for the season, scoring 13 points and grabbing 12 rebounds. The Generals were able to win the battle of the boards against the Pilots, outrebounding them 47-37, however were cold offensively shooting 28% from the field on the night.Ā

The Generals will look to get back into the win column as they head to Hobbs, NM to take on the Mustangs of Southwest this Saturday, February 11
th. Tip-off is set for 2:00 PM.Ā
