ALEXANDRIA, LA- The Generals moved to 11-5 in RRAC conference play after double-header action with the Jaguars of Houston Victoria ended in two close losses.
 
Game one: LSUA 1, UHV 2
 
In game one, the Generals and Jaguars went into extra innings before a winner was decided as the Jaguars got on the scoreboard first in the 3^rd inning. It wasn't until the 4^th inning that the Generals answered back with the help of a triple to left field by Madelyn Bourgoyne that brought Katherine Atkins home. Both teams battled it out not able to score any runs until the Jaguars put up the game winning run in the 9^th inning. 
 
Game two: LSUA 7, UHV 9
 
Despite the Jaguars getting on the scoreboard first in the first inning of play, the Generals quickly responded back in the second inning blasting out five runs of their own making it a 5-1 ball game in favor of the Generals.
 
The Jaguars didn't let the Generals maintain a lead for very long as they put up eight runs in the third inning, now leading the Generals 9-5. The Generals tried to climb back with two more runs in the third inning and keeping the Jaguars from putting up any more runs but could not gain back the lead to pull out the win.
 
The Generals will continue their home stretch of games as they will host the Eagles of Texas A&M-Texarkana on April 6^th. First game of the double header is set for 2:00 PM.
