STAFFORD, TX- In what has been one of the best program starts for LSUA women's basketball, the Generals have picked up another conference win against the Stallions of North American with a score of 68-57.
In a well-rounded team effort,
Dannah Martin-Hartwick found her grove from behind the arch going 4-7 and ending the night with 23 points. Junior guard,
Amani Gray, also was efficient pouring in 12 points on the night, grabbing 11 rebounds, 5 assists, and 3 steals.
Ojoro and
Blair Smith also saw double digit figures on the night.
Generals wasted no time getting on the board early and leading by seventeen points going into halftime. Despite the Stallions finding a spark in the 4
th quarter dropping in 22 of their 57 points, the Generals early work and strong togetherness on defense secured the win.
After coming off a long road stretch the Generals will be back at home in The Fort on January 16
th if weather permits. The Generals will be taking on cross town rivals, the Wildcats of Louisiana Christian University.
