SAN ANTONIO, Texas – The Louisiana State University of Alexandria women's basketball team fell to Texas A&M-San Antonio, 76-69.

"It was a tough loss tonight," LSUA Head Coach Billy Perkins said. "We turned the ball over too many times."

Gray finished 7-for-10 from the free throw line and knocked down four shots from the field. She also led the Purple and Gold with nine rebounds. LSUA scored 24 points in the paint and committed 30 turnovers on the evening.

Despite shooting 50 percent from the floor in the first quarter, LSUA found themselves trailing 15-13. The Generals shot even better in the second quarter, knocking down 58.7 percent of their shots, and went into half time trailing 37-34.

Martiin-Hartwick tied the game with 3:10 left in the second, 27-27, with a three but an 8-1 run put the Jaguars ahead 35-28 with under a minute before the half time break. A pair of threes from Jones sent the Generals into the break down three.

The Jaguars extended their advantage to as many as 16 over the course of third stanza. A run in the fourthquarter saw points from Peracchi, Martin-Hartwick, Alexis Dyer, and Jones combined for a 13-2 run, cutting the deficit to 64-59 with 4:21 left in regulation.

A jumper from Gray, a three from Jones, and a pair of free throws from Gray brought the Generals within two, 68-66, with 1:48 to play.

After back-to-back baskets from TAMUSA, a three-point play from Peracchi brought the Generals within one possession again, 72-69. The Jaguars tacked on four free throws, sealing the 76-69 victory.
