ALEXANDRIA, LA- After dominating in double-header action against the Steers, the Generals took the field for game three not letting up as they took the 13-3 win for a series sweep.
GAME THREE: LSUA 13, TC 3
The Generals took game three just as they did with the double header, bats swinging. The Generals would gain a quick 5-0 lead before the Steers responded in the 4
th inning of play. Left fielder,
Cade Labruyere, was one of the strong bats for the Generals as he went 3-4 at the plate with 2 RBIs. Following suit,
Blaise Foote also had a good at bat as he went 3-5 with 3 RBIs of his own.
On the mound,
Colin LaCombe, got the start pitching 4 innings allowing on 3 hits and striking out four.
James Gay and
Zack Benevage came in and finished out the job to seal the win for the Generals.
The Generals will continue their season on the road for the next game as they will travel to Southern University at New Orleans. First pitch is set to be thrown at 1:00 PM.
