Generals Sweep Rams

ALEXANDRIA, LA- LSUA hit good form and take care of the rams in game 2 & 3.

Game 2:
It was a good day today for pitching and fielding which led to some low scoring games. The first run of the game came for the Generals as Alex Guilbeau singled to right field to get Zach Mengarelli home. In the bottom of the 6th, Blaise Foote singled to left field to allow Cade Labruyere to score. William Vice pitched 7 flawless innings to give LSUA a 2-0 victory.

Game 3:
In the final game of the series, it was actually the rams that struck the first blow as they took a 0-1 lead in the top of the 2nd. LSUA were held until the bottom of the 6th, until Keegan Garcia sac flied to center field, which allowed Blaise Foote to get home and tie the game. After 9 innings, the teams couldn't be separated, and we needed a 10th to find the winner. LSUA then found their rhythm and had the bases loaded with 0 outs. Up steps Keegan Garcia to hit a beautiful single to left field to get Zach Mengarelli home, and give the Generals a 2-1 victory.

Next up for the Generals is a trip to William Carey on March 12th.
