ALEXANDRIA, LA- The Generals kicked off the 2024 Red River Athletic Conference tournament with a quarter-final match up against the Saints of OLLU with a 61-45 win. 
 
The Generals got into a rhythm early, despite having to play at 9:45 AM, and took off with the 9-point lead after the first quarter of play.
 
Dannah Martin-Hartwick was able to find her sweet spot from three as she drained four from downtown, ending the game with 16 points. Benedetta Peracchi and Amani Gray also saw double-digit figures in the Generals victory. 
 
The Generals advance to the semi-finals today, March 2nd, meeting up with the #2 seed, the Gold Nuggets of Xavier University. In conference play the two teams split 1-1, which means this will be a very interesting matchup once again. Game time at the Rapides Parish Coliseum is set for 1:00 PM.
