ALEXANDRIA, LA- The Generals took a break from conference play to take on the Knights of SUNO where they saw a 13-2 victory.
Colin LaCombe saw the mound first for the Generals where his pitched 5 of the 7 innings played, allowing only two hits from the Knights, and striking out six.
Overall, at the plate, the Generals were hot, getting scoring started in the first inning of play going up 2-0. Adding a total of 6 more runs between the 3
rd and 4
th inning, The Generals saw an 8-0 lead.
It wasn't until the top of the 6
th inning when the Knights saw some runs, making it an 8-2 ball game still in favor of the Generals. However, the Generals soon answered back with five more runs of their own ending the game in 7 short innings.

Peyton Marcantel and
Jacob Martin both had 3 RBIs each for the Generals.
The Generals will be back at home this weekend for a conference series with the Eagles of Texas A&M-Texarkana. First game will be on Friday, March 19
th at 2:00 PM.
