ALEXANDRIA, LA- The Generals started off the three game Xavier match up with a 8-1 win, but things took a turn for the Generals as they headed into the double-header on Saturday, falling in both games. 

GAME ONE: LSUA 7, XULA 11
The Generals took a quick lead in the first inning of play going up 3-0 and were able to maintain that lead until the 5^th inning when Xavier capitalized on back-to-back General errors. The Gold Rush held an 11-4 lead before the Blaise Foote responded with a two-run homer making it a 11-6 game before the Generals snuck in one last run.

GAME TWO: LSUA 13, XULA 17
Game two didn't go much differently than game one, as the Generals struggled to clean up their defense, allowing the Gold Rush to continue capitalizing on Generals errors, while also having the hot bats.

The Generals will be on the road for the remainder of the season as their first stop will be in San Antonio taking on the Saints of Our Lady of the Lake University on Friday, April 12^th. First pitch of game one will be at 6:00 PM.
