ALEXANDRIA, La. – The Louisiana State University of Alexandria Athletics Department recorded 3.22 grade point average for Fall 2024.
"We are incredibly proud of our student-athletes who have received recognition for their academic prowess," LSUA Director of Athletics Tyler Unsicker said. "It is a testament to their commitment to their studies and having success on and off the court or field."
Led by 33 student-athletes with 4.0 GPAs for Fall 2024, 115 student-athletes posted a GPA of 3.0 or above in the Fall semester – roughly 66-percent of LSUA student-athletes.
Five teams posted a team GPA of 3.0 or above with Women's Tennis posting a department-high 3.76 GPA. Women's Basketball (3.42), Softball (3.45), Men's Soccer (3.36) and Women's Soccer (3.28) also finished with a 3.0 or higher.
