Box Score ALEXANDRIA, LA -- The Louisiana State University of Alexandria women's soccer team shut out Jarvis Christian University, 10-0, and score five times in each half.

The Generals (6-6-0, 4-1-0 RRAC) recorded 30 shots and finished with seven different goal scorers. Linnea Lundstroem recorded her first career hat trick with all three goals coming in the second half. LSUA held the Bulldogs (1-8-1, 1-4-0 RRAC) to just four shots.

Yanira Herraez made two saves for the Purple and Gold en route to her first win and clean sheet of the season.

"I think that we came out and played really well," LSUA Head Coach
Mark Hammond said. Two different performances. In the first half we had an explosive start, good energy, and counter pressed the ball really well. We smothered them in the first half and didn't give them much of an outlet. In the second half, we dominated the play and hemmed them in. Credit to a lot of girls."

Maria Portas opened the scoring in the game's first minute. She took a chance from the top of the 18 and buried it for a 1-0 lead.

Sara Escribano Garcia-Miguel netted her seventh goal of the season in the 19
th minute. Cobos chipped a pass over the back line for Escribano who slipped her shot past the keeper.

Cobos tallied her first goal of the year in the 21
st minute taking a pass from
Alexia Bermejo Jo and beating the keeper.

Escrbano struck again a few minutes later, taking an over-the-top ball from Bermejo and slotting her second goal of the game.

Ariana Lowenstein was next on the ledger. A free kick from
Fenja Leibner rattled around the six where Lowenstein picked up a carom and buried it for a 5-0 lead.

Saige Kirkbrid was the first on the scoresheet in the second half. She tallied a header goal off a corner from
Jacqui Guillermo in the 64
th minute.

Lundstroem's first goal came in the 67
th minute. She fired a one-timed effort off a short pass from
Taylor Carty for a 7-0 advantage.

Her second goal came in the 70
th minute, heading a free kick from Guillermo past the keeper.

Cailyn Bailey notched her first goal of the season getting behind the defense and beating the keeper high for a 9-0 lead.

Nelly Dallmann slipped a pass to Lundstroem for the hat trick and the Generals' final goal in the 90
th minute.
