ALEXANDRIA, LA – The No. 10 Louisiana State University of Alexandria women's tennis team competes at the George E. Fourmaux Invitational, hosted by Southeastern Louisiana University.
 
DAY ONE – Friday, November 7
The Generals played doubles only on the tournament's first day.
 
ROUND ONE
Nahia Echaide and Lucie Ivanova fell in round one, 5-7, to Southeastern's Taisia Bolsova and Aitana Darder. Ekaterina Orlova and Isabella Stuurman were defeated, 4-6, by Adriana Tirado and Mariam Tetradze.
 
Joeline Roesch and Esthella Valentina Gonzalez Saiza recorded a 7-5 win over Panatchakom Suanarsa and Mariam Makashvili.

ROUND TWO
In the second round of play on Friday, Echaide and Ivanova fell to Paige Duncan and Bolsoova, 7-5. Roesch and Valeria Diaz were defeated by Tirado and Tetradze, 6-4. 

Orlova and Stuurman recorded a 6-3 victory over Suarnasa and Makashvili.

DAY TWO – Saturday, November 8
The Generals played both Lamar and Louisiana Christian on day two of the tournament.

Against Lamar, Echaide defeated Arina Gudovskaya, 6-2, 6-4 in singles. Diaz recorded a 6-2, 6-2 win over Varvara Popadina. Stuurman fell to Luana Paiva, 1-6, 5-7. Orlova was defeated by Martina Alcaino, 2-6, 4-6. In doubles, Roesch and Gonzalez Saiza fell to Asta Miettinen and Savannah Bijlsma, 6-7 (5-7).

Against the Wildcats, the Generals took four of the five matches. In doubles, Echaide and Ivanova recorded a 6-3 win over Raquel Coelho Rodrigues and Ana Sofia Ferrer. In singles, Stuurman defeated Mikhailova, 6-0, 6-2. Roesch recorded a 2-6, 6-2, 10-8 victory over Farren Allysia Sandy.  Diaz notched a 6-0, 6-4 win over Akari Uchiyama. Orlova fell to Valeria Callejo, 0-6, 2-6.
