THE GENERALS
The Generals are 4-3 on the season and 1-0 in RRAC play. They staged a second half comeback against Red River Rival Louisiana Christian,
Jordan Decuir recorded a team-high 19 points.
TJ James (13) and
Norman Beckford (12) also finished with double digit points. Decuir added four assists, one block, and three steals to the ledger as well. James led LSUA with nine rebounds. Beckford notched a team-high three blocks.
EJ McQuillan dished out five assists.
Decuir earned RRAC Offensive Player of the Week for his efforts.
McQuillan leads the Generals in scoring, averaging 25.0 points per game. Decuir is second at 17.0.
TJ James leads the Purple and Gold in rebounding, hauling in 6.3 boards with McQuillan close behind at 6.0.
LSUA is 7-0 against the Stallions all-time. They took both ends of the season series last year.
SCOUTING NORTH AMERICAN UNIVERSITY
The Stallions are 3-1 on the season and 1-0 in RRAC play after defeating Xavier (La.), 66-63.
Joseph Cormier led the Stallions with 20 points in the win over XULA. Tevin Gowins (13) and Kemani Wilson (12) also reached double digits.
Cormier leads the Stallions is scoring, averaging 14.0 points per game and shooting 54.5 percent from the floor. Naheim Northern (12.0) and Jamarric Hammond (10.5) also average more than 10 points per game.
Cormier (9.0) and Northern (7.7) lead the Stallions in rebounding.
As a team, North American is averaging 67.75 points and allowing 59.25.
