PREVIEW | No. 2 Men's Basketball Faces NAU, HTU in Road Matchups

Presented by Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers

ALEXANDRIA, La. – The No. 2 Louisiana State University of Alexandria travels to North American University and Huston-Tillotson University in a pair of Red River Athletic Conference contests.

"Big Road trip for us this week. North American is not what their record reflects," LSUA Head Coach Dimario Jackson said. "They are a team that can put a lot of pressure on the paint, they play hard and they can make shots. Coach Doze is doing a good job with those guys. We have to get off to a good start, which is something we have been focusing on. Defensively, for 40 minutes, we have to be locked in to the gameplan. HT is a team that plays extremely hard for 40 minutes. They are scrappy, they have hostile environment! They have two players who can be All-Conference type players. Our focus has to be at an all-time high, we must execute the game plan."

The Generals (20-1, 17-1 RRAC) picked up a pair of wins last week over Paul Quinn College, 71-63, and University of the Southwest (N.M.), 79-69.
