SHREVEPORT, LA – The Louisiana State University of Alexandria baseball team dropped both ends of its doubleheader against No.1 LSU Shreveport, 11-3 and 10-3.
The Generals are now 14-18 on the season and 8-7 in Red River Athletic Conference Play.
"It was a tough weekend," LSUA Head Coach Kody Gautreaux said. "LSUS is undefeated and the number one team in the country for a reason. Credit to them for playing well. We have to continue to work hard on the things we are not doing well as a team right now."
GAME ONE | LSUS 11, LSUA 3
The Generals struck first on an RBI double down the left field line from Shae Thibodeau.
LSU Shreveport (29-0, 15-0 RRAC) responded with a five-run second inning. The Pilots added three more runs in the third and another three in the sixth.

Landon Langley drove in
Colin Ardoin with a single up the middle.
Brenyn Ebarb (1-5) was charged with the loss. He allowed two runs and walked five. Patin recorded a pair of hits, the Generals ended the game with six total knocks.
GAME TWO | LSUS 10, LSUA 3
The Pilots' offense went to work early in game two, scoring four runs in the opening two innings.
LSUA's runs came in the sixth and ninth innings.
Jaxon Bernard launched a two-run homerun in the sixth. In the ninth, Patin dashed home on a wild pitch.
William Vice (1-2) was charged with the loss. He allowed six runs, three earned, over three innings.
Offensively, the Generals managed just three hits.
