The Generals (31-2) advanced to the Round of Eight with an 83-78 victory over four-seeded Bethel (Ind.).

LSUA took an eight-point lead into halftime, 39-31. The Pilots drew even, 47-47, with 12:05 left in regulation. They worked their lead to as many as nine with just under six minutes to play, 62-53. A pair of consecutive threes from McQuillan and a tip-in from
TJ James pulled LSUA within one, 62-61, with 4:13 to play. The Generals tied the game on their next possession with a layup from Natt, 63-63.
The Generals led 69-66 with 2.7 seconds on the clock after McQuillan knocked down a pair of shots at the charity stripe. The Pilots took the inbound and drained a deep three as time expired to force overtime.
Natt scored the first four points of overtime, putting LSUA ahead 73-69. A three and a jumper from Bethel gave the Pilots a brief 74-73 lead. The lead switched hands over the next four possessions until a jumper from Natt put LSUA up 79-78 with 27 seconds left. He then sank four free throws to seal the victory.
SCOUTING OKLAHOMA WESLEYAN
The Eagles are 26-7 on the season. They advanced to the Round of Eight with a 77-65 upset of three-seeded Baker University (Kan.).
OKWU trailed 37-32 at halftime. A 45-point second half, while holding Baker to just 28, led the Eagles to victory. Jaden Lietzke led the OKWU offense with 16 points. DJ Talton Jr. (14) and Nick Bene (10) reached double digits as well.
Talton Jr. and Lietzke lead the Eagles' offense across the season, averaging 14.2 points per game. They are shooting 44.5% and 72.2% from the floor respectively. Talton Jr. also leads the Eagles in assists with 174. As a team, OKWU is scoring 80.4 points per game and shooting 46.7% from the floor. They allow 70.5 points for a margin of +9.9.
On the rebounding front, Lietzke leads the Eagles at an average of 8.1 boards per game. He also leads OKWU with 38 blocks. The Eagles register 38.0 rebounds per game to their opponents 30.6, a margin of +7.4.
