No. 9 Softball Becomes Fastest in Program History to Reach 30 Wins With Doubleheader Sweep of HTU

ALEXANDRIA, LA – The No. 9 Louisiana State University of Alexandria softball team reached 30 wins on the season with a doubleheader sweep of Huston-Tillotson University (4-14, 3-13 RRAC), 17-1 and 9-1.

"Today was again, not the norm," LSUA Head Coach Trent Partridge said. "You come out today, after having a late game yesterday, and you get ready for a ballgame and had to sit around for an hour. We challenged the girls to come out and put pressure on them from the beginning. We put the game early and that was a big challenge for us after the last few weeks of not putting someone away."

The 2025 Generals (30-2, 14-0 RRAC) are the fastest LSUA softball team to reach the 30-win mark in program history. They eclipsed the 2014 and 2015 marks of 33 games.

GAME ONE | LSUA 17, HTU 1 (FIVE INNINGS)
LSUA scored 17 runs in the first two innings, including 11 in the first inning in the win. The Generals recorded 13 hits.
