ALEXANDRIA, LA – Kashie Natt of the Louisiana State University of Alexandria men's basketball team has added a pair of All-American accolades and two Player of the Year Awards to his mantle.
Nash was named NAIA First Team All-American and earned NAIA Player of the Year, the NAIA announced today. He also earned NABC Player of the Year and NABC All-American honors.
The awards come after Natt led the Generals to the NAIA Men's Basketball National Championship Round of Eight. He earned All-Red River Athletic Conference First Team honors, RRAC Player of the Year, and RRAC Defensive Player of the Year.
Natt averaged 19.9 points, 10.1 rebounds, 3.1 assists, and two steals per game. He shot 47.6 percent from the field and 77.5 percent from the foul line over the Generals' 31-3 campaign.
It is the second time Natt has been named an NAIA First Team All-American and NABC All-American.
Natt led the Generals in scoring (19.9), rebounding (10.1), assists (104), steals (68), and free throw percentage (77.5). He had team single-game highs in points (36), field goals made (15), free throws made (12), rebounds (18), assists (9), steals (5), and blocks (5).
