ALEXANDRIA, La. – The Louisiana State University of Alexandria women's soccer team fell to Texas A&M-Texarkana, 2-1.
The loss snaps the Generals' (12-4-1, 7-1-0) 10-match winning streak.
"We have no one else to blame but ourselves," LSUA Head Coach
Mark Hammond said. "We were poor in the first half and allowed the opposition to get momentum on us. In our conference if you're not ready to perform from the first whistle then it becomes extremely difficult to win games. With saying that, we had more than enough chances to win the game and should have won the game when you look at the quality of chances created. We need to dust ourselves off and go again on Saturday."

Meike van Straten made nine saves on the afternoon, five coming in the first half.
Alicia Loera put A&M-Texarkana ahead 1-0 I the 37
th minute, sending the Eagles into halftime with the lead.
Ariana Lowenstein equalized for the Generals in the 84
th minute with her fifth goal of the season.

th minute. Melissa Gonzalez turned two shots away in the barrage.
Desiree Narvaez and Brooklyn Lattier linked up on the counterattack before Narvaez scored with just 24 seconds remaining to go ahead 2-1.
