TEXARKANA, TX - The Louisiana State University of Alexandria baseball team sweeps Texas A&M - Texarkana in the first three Red River Athletic Conference games.

GAME ONE | TAMUT 3, LSUA 4
The Generals (14-5, 3-0 RRAC) broke through in the third after two scoreless innings to take the early lead against Texas A&M - Texarkana.
Dalton Wilson singled to left field bringing in Cade LaBruyere.

The Eagles (5-12, 0-3 RRAC) answered with a Colton Wombles triple down to the right field line allowing James Provencio to equalize the game in the bottom of the third.

In the fourth LSUA scored a pair of runs taking back the lead.
Landon Langley doubled down the left field lane bringing in
Zack Berry. Langley later scored on a throwing error after stealing third.

Texarkana scored a run in the fourth, but their bid to even the score was halted. Wilson flew out on a sacrifice fly which brought in C. LaBruyere.

A few innings later, the Eagles scored again but their comeback effort fell short.

Zac Collins (2-0) earned the win on the mound, tossing 3.2 innings, facing 17 batters, and striking out two.

GAME TWO | TAMUT 10 , LSUA 13
Opening the scoring in their third game of the Red River Athletic Conference, the Generals scored three runs bringing in
Fischer Einkauf,
Lane Kratzer, and
Brett Batteford.

The Eagles got on the board scoring on a passed ball.
Â
Einkauf lifted a sacrifice fly to right field to score  Langley, and Wilson later reached on an error, allowing
Trevor Dooley to score.
Â
In the fifth inning, Texarkana scored four runs including a three-run home run to tie the game at 5-5. The Eagles continued to build momentum, plating five runs in the sixth.

LSUA bounced back in the seventh with a four run rally. Wilson singled to first bringing in Dooley.
Lane Kratzer followed it and singled to right field allowing LaBruyere to score.
Evan Rohlfs-Schadel reached on a fielder's choice to plate D. Wilson.

The Generals regained the lead in the eighth with a three-run double down the left field line by Rohlfs-Schadel, scoring
Brett Batteford, Wilson, and
Geoffrey Fontenot.

In the ninth Dooley scored on an error by the catcher making it 13-10.
Â
Colin Ardoin recorded his first save of the season, coming in with two runners on and recording a pair of fly outs and a strikeout to retire the side.

Shae Thibodeaux (1-0) earned the win on the mound, tossing 2.0 innings, facing 10 batters, and striking out one.

The Generals return home to host LSU Shreveport in a three game series next week.
