HAWKINS, TX – The Louisiana State University of Alexandria softball finished off their sweep of Jarvis Christian University, 11-1, in the series finale.
 
Kaetlyn Dunbar drove in five runs and finished a home run shy of the cycle as the Generals (28-14, 20-4) spoiled the Bulldogs' Senior Day.
 
Sophia Romero, Kilee Moody, Livie Thibodeaux, Jillian Howell, Lainee Bailey, and Molly Sistrunk all drove in a run. Haley Fontenot recorded three hits and scored three times.
 
Cate Nettles earned the win in the circle. She threw three shutout innings and allowed just three hits with one strikeout.
 
LSUA scored four runs in the first, two in the second, four in the fourth, and one in the fifth.
 
The Generals host Louisiana Chrisitan University in the Red River Rivalry next week for their final series of the regular season.
