ALEXANDRIA, LA – The Louisiana State University of Alexandria women's tennis team captured a plethora of ITA academic honors, the association announced recently.

Nahia Echaide,
Jordan Dunbar,
Ekaterina Orlova,
Isabella Stuurman,
Joline Roesch, and
Lucie Ivanova were all named ITA Scholar Athletes.
In 2026, there were 156 NAIA women's tennis players named ITA Scholar-Athletes
To be named an ITA Scholar-Athlete, student-athletes must meet the following requirements: Have a grade point average of at least 3.5 on a 4.00 scale for the current academic year and be listed on the institution's eligibility form.
The Generals were named an ITA All-Academic Team with a team GPA of 3.86. They are one of just 21 programs awarded the All-Academic Team distinction.
To be named an ITA All-Academic Team programs have a cumulative grade point average of 3.2 or above.
