TYLER, TX- The Generals Women's Basketball team will continue their conference play when they take on Texas College in an attempt to get back to winning ways.
The Generals (3-12, 2-6) take on Texas College Saturday afternoon at 2:00PM.
The Generals currently have 16 games under their belt, averaging 61 points per game and shooting 38% from the field. Sophomore Amani gray has impressed by starting 16/16 games thus far, and she will look to continue her impressive form in the Generals upcoming trip to Texas.
Dannah Martin-Hartwick and
Alex Harrison will be relied on once again to put points on the board for the Generals. Junior,Â
Raegan Ojoro, is coming off of her first double-double of the season as she had 22 points and 12 rebounds, and will look to have a large impact on this upcoming match up against the Steers.
The Texas College Steers are currently 5-11 overall, and 2-7 in the red river conference. In the 16 games played this year, the Steers are averaging 59.3 points per game, and are shooting 38.9% from the field. The Steers also collect 25.3 boards on average. Te'Aire Hambrick leads the way offensively for the Steers, averaging an impressive 14.1 points per game.
