The 2022 Red River Conference Tournament champions, LSUA, are about to begin their 2023 season, as they prepare to take on the Oklahoma City University Stars.
LSUA are well prepared, and have been working hard during pre-season for a tough opening game.
For the 2022 season, LSUA had an impressive record, as they went 33-16 overall, and 25-8 in conference play. In a total of 49 games, LSUA achieved 436 runs, which included 48 home runs. The Generals had a .305 batting average, with an on base percentage of .428.
LSUA will be relying on key returners if they hope to have another successful season. Junior shortstop
Jordan Ardoin, senior utility player
Cameron Daigle, and junior left-handed pitcher
Seth Trahan are all looking have a big impact once again this year.
LSUA Head Coach Kody Gautreaux had a phenomenal first season in charge, and has high hopes of repeating last year's success.
