Box Score Overland Park, KS. -- No. 3-ranked LSUA (2-0) continued its strong start to the season with a 4-3 win over no. 6 Xavier University of Louisiana (0-2) on Friday. Olivia Scattinni and Annemart Kleijn outlasted XULA's Kareemah Muhammad and Mbali Langa 7-5 to clinch the doubles point for LSUA and carried the momentum into singles action as well.

After being last off the court for doubles, Klein and Scattinni sailed efficiently though singles play, with Klein downing McKenna Wheatley (6-3, 7-5) and Scattinni sweeping Juliette Finch (6-2, 6-3).

After XULA picked up three wins to tie the contest, Patricia Martinez Molina delivered the win for the Generals at the no. 6 line, with a 7-5, 7-5 win over Tianna Dixon.

The Generals are back on court Saturday, taking on no. 2 Keiser University. First serve for the semifinal match is set for 3 p.m.
