The Generals were looking untouchable this weekend as they took down everyone that was put in front of them.
Rivals, LSUS, were the first team that the Generals faced. The Generals easily dispatched the pilots in the doubles, as all LSUA pairings took 6-0 victories. Next up were the single matches, and the outcomes didn't change, as LSUA won 6 games out of 6.

Next up for the Generals was a match up against Grambling. Once again, the Generals dominated all three doubles matches, only dropping 2 games in total. In the singles, the Generals dominated once again.
Candela Bonivardi had an extremely impressive game as she took down the Grambling #1 seed in comfortable fashion. All Generals either won, or were winning their games by the time the victory was secured.
Next up for the Generals was the most important game of the weekend against Xavier University of Louisiana. LSUA are nationally ranked #3, and Xavier are ranked #4. In the doubles, LSUA won 2/3 games and took the point.
Olivia Scattini and
Annemart Kleijn set the tone with a 6-2 victory.
Patricia Martinez Molina and
Candela Bonivardi secured the doubles point with a thrilling 7-5 victory. In the singles, it went right down to the wire.
Alicia Romero Gomez won 6-2, 7-6,
Maria Alvarez won 6-3, 6-2, and
Annemart Kleijn sealed victory 2-6, 7-5, 7-5. Both LSUA and Xavier won 3 singles matches each, therefore the doubles point was crucial. Final score LSUA 4-3 Xavier.
