BATON ROUGE, La. – The Louisiana State University of Alexandria women's basketball team fell to NCAA DI No. 7 Louisiana State University in an exhibition.
"It's crazy how star struck they were at the beginning but once the ball went up, they battled," LSUA Head Coach Billy Perkins said. "We gave everyone a chance to get out there and give it a shot. Very proud of them for competing tonight."
Kelly Norris led the Generals with seven points.
Blair Smith and
Traeshira Harry each finished with six, while
Benedetta Peracchi and
Addison Walker notched five.
Reese Stephens and
Dannah Martin-Hartwick each scored four.
Norris was 3-for-6 from the field, while Harry finished 2-for-3.
Martin-Hartwick, Smith, and Norris recorded four rebounds each. One of which was an offensive board for all three. Peracchi recorded two steals.
The Generals recorded 12 points in the paint, 10 points off turnovers and the reserves tallied 22 points.
LSUA is back in action on Saturday, November 2. The Generals host the University of Mobile at 11:00 AM in The Fort.
