ALEXANDRIA, La. – The Louisiana State University of Alexandria women's basketball team hosts Texas College in a Red River Athletic Conference match-up.
 
"Texas College is going to be another good challenge this week," LSUA Head Coach Billy Perkins said. "They like to play fast and press on the defensive end."
 
The Generals (5-1, 2-0 RRAC) are coming off a pair of wins in RRAC play. They took down Jarvis Christian, 71-59, in their RRAC opener before defeating Texas A&M-Texarkana, 77-67, on the road.
 
SCOUTING TEXAS COLLEGE
The Steers are 1-2 on the season. They opened the season with a pair of losses to Philander Smith, 74-54, and Florida Memorial, 65-62. Texas College recorded its first win over Dallas Christian College, 52-50, on November 5.
 
Texas College is averaging 52.7 points per game and shooting 32.2 percent from the field. They average 38.7 rebounds and 8.3 assists per game.

The Generals are 16-2 all-time against Texas College. They won both games last season and are currently on a five-game winning streak over The Steers.

Tip-off is scheduled for 5:30 PM on Tuesday, November 19.
