ALEXANDRIA, La. – The No. 12 Louisiana State University of Alexandria men's basketball team travels to NCAA DI Louisiana Tech and reigning NAIA National Champion No. 4 Freed-Hardeman University in a pair of road games.
"Louisiana Tech is good, well-coached team," LSUA Head Coach Dimario Jackson said. "They have one of the best players in the country. We have to be the more disciplined team, and we have to be the tougher team. That has to be our mindset for 40 minutes. We have to team rebound and be aggressive offensively. Our guys are prepared and ready. Freed-Hardeman is the Reigning NAIA National Champions. They are coached up and they have a lot of talent. It's their homecoming, along with it being a Top 15 matchup. It will be a hostile environment. We are ready! We have to execute defensively and offensively. We have to set the tempo of the game."
The Generals won their home opener over Loyola (La.), 89-77.
