RUSTON, La. – The Louisiana State University of Alexandria women's basketball team fell to NCAA Division I opponent Louisiana Tech, 86-41, in an exhibition game.
 
Jewel Jones led the Generals with eight points and seven rebounds. Bria Raymond scored seven points, while Emilee Totino tallied five. Benedetta Peracchi recorded four rebounds and a team-high three assists. LSUA scored 14 points in the paint, 11 points off turnovers, and the bench recorded 19 points.
 
The Generals restart Red River Athletic Conference play on Saturday, January 4, when they host LSU Shreveport at 1:00 PM in The Fort.
