ALEXANDRIA, La. – The No. 2 Louisiana State University of Alexandria men's basketball team hosts a trio of games against Xavier (La.), Our Lady of the Lake, and Texas A&M-San Antonio in their final home games of the season.
The Generals (22-1, 19-1 RRAC) are coming off a pair of wins over North American University, 73-62, and Huston-Tillotson 85-57. LSUA has won 16 straight games.
SCOUTING XAVIER (La.)
The Gold Rush are 17-6 on the season and 16-5 in RRAC play. They are 7-4 on the road. Currently, they are in second place in the conference and sit four games back of LSUA.
Xavier averages 74.7 points per game and is shooting 44.2% as a team. Lance Williams leads the Gold Rush's offense, averaging 15.5 points per game. He is shooting 48.8% on the season, including a 41% mark from beyond the three-point line. Seviuhn Turner (14.1) and James Weathers (12.6) are also averaging double-digit scoring efforts. Turner has knocked down 45.8% of his shots, while Weathers has converted on 39.4%.
Corey Dunning leads XULA's rebounding efforts. He averages 6.9 boards per game. Turner is in second at 5.4 rebounds. The Gold Rush average 37.5 rebounds per game and hold a 37.5 to 35.0 margin over their opponents.
The Generals are 9-4 against the Gold Rush all-time. XULA took the first leg of the season, 89-72, in New Orleans.

SCOUTING OUR LADY OF THE LAKE
The Saints are 18-6 overall and 14-6 in RRAC games. They currently sit in third place in conference standings behind LSUA and XULA. The Saints are a game behind XULA and five games behind LSUA. OLLU has won its last three games.
Our Lady of the Lake averages 83.7 points per game and are shooting 48.1 percent from the field. They allow 81.5 points per game. Leading the Saints' offense is Breion Powell with 14.2 points per game. He is shooting 52.3 percent from the field. Lonzo Rand (14.1) and Trey Law (13.6) are also averaging double digit efforts each night. The pair are shooting 46.4 and 57%, respectively.
The Saints are out rebounding their opponents 37.5 to 35.3. Leading their efforts is Powell, hauling in 5.9 rebounds per game and Arthur Celestin at 5.5 boards per night.
LSUA is 15-4 all-time against Our Lady of the Lake. They won the last matchup on December 21, 2024, 85-71.

SCOUTING TEXAS A&M-SAN ANTONIO
The Jaguars are 5-19 on the season and 4-16 in RRAC play. They have lost their last seven games and are 2-9 when playing away from home.
TAMUSA averages 71 points per game and are shooting 41.3% from the field. Journee Phillips and Antwone Gonzales lead the Jaguars in scoring, averaging 16.4 and 16.3 points per game, respectively. Phillips is knocking down shots at a clip of 47.2%, while Gonzales is converting 38.4% of his chances.
The Jaguars have a rebounding margin of minus four on the season. They are being out rebounded 38.8 to 34.8. Xzavier Brown (4.5), Dezmon Dudley (4.2), and Phillips are the top three rebounders for the Jaguars.
LSUA won the only meeting between the Generals and Jaguars on December 19, 2024. The Generals captured a 74-71 victory in San Antonio.
