ALEXANDRIA, LA – The Louisiana State University of Alexandria travel to (RV) LSU Shreveport for their regular season finale.
 
"Big game for our team this week anytime you can play one of the best team in conference here at the end of season," LSUA Head Coach Billy Perkins said. "As a coaching staff, it gives us a better idea of where we are as a team before conference tournament.   LSUS is big and play really good defense so we are looking forward to the challenge."
 
The Generals (21-6, 17-5 RRAC) are coming off a pair of wins over Our Lady of the Lake, 64-59, and Texas A&M-San Antonio, 76-63.
 
SCOUTING LSU SHREVEPORT
The Pilots are 23-3 overall and 22-1 in Red River Athletic Conference play. They have won 18 games in a row and are 11-1 when playing at home.
 
Offensively, the Pilots are averaging 73.1 points per game and shooting 43.9% from the floor. From long range, LSUS is converting 32.9% of their chances. Selma Markisic leads the Pilots, averaging 13 points per game. She is shooting 42.8% from the floor and 34.3% from long range. Helena Glunic (11.6) and Paula Gonzalez Herrero (11.2) round out the double-digit scorers. Galunic is shooting 47.7% from the floor, while Gonzalez Herrero is knocking down 44.1% of her chances.
 
Leading the rebounding efforts for the Pilots is Galunic. She averages 6.9 boards per game. Vicky Parra sits behind her at 5.5 rebounds. The Pilots are out rebounding their opponents 38.5 to 34.8. They are also averaging over six more steals than their opponents, 15.4 to 9.2.
 
The Generals are 5-12 all-time against the Pilots. They have lost the last 12 meetings, including the matchup on January 4, 76-60.
