The No. 12 Generals took down Savannah College of Art and Design last week, 4-1.
Kanu Rajawat earned RRAC Player of the Week. Rajawat won the No. 2 Singles match over No. 11 Savannah College of Art and Design's ITA NAIA No. 25 Yue Ye 1-6, 6-3, 6-3. In Doubles, Rajawat and
Gianna Panaggio picked up a 6-2 win over Chloe Cobianchi and Adeline Flanagan.
Nahia Echaide comes into the week ranked No. 33 in the latest ITA NAIA Singles rankings. Rajawat received her first ranking as well, at No. 52.
SCOUTING NO. 4 SOUTHEASTERN
The Fire have won three straight duals and four of their last five. The last three victories have come against ranked opponents. They are 11-4 on the season and 8-1 when playing at home.
Irene Parigi has a 10-1 singles record on the season. She is 7-1 when playing out of the No. 4 spot. Alessia Ciampi is 8-5, while ITA NAIA No. 44 Isabella Bolivar Garces is 7-4. Bolivar Garces has posted a 5-1 record when competing in the No. 3 spot. ITA NAIA No. 38 Carlotta Nonnis Marzana has posted a 5-5 record in the No. 1 spot. The Fire are 50-25 across singles matches.
In doubles, Marzano and Irene Lopez are 8-2 when playing in No. 1 Doubles and have won their last seven matches. Ciampi is undefeated in doubles, posting a record of 11-0. She has played with four different partners thus far on the season. The Fire are 31-8 across doubles.
