Box Score FORT WORTH, TEXAS – The No. 12 Louisiana State University of Alexandria women's tennis team took down Texas Wesleyan, 7-0, in their first match of the Steve Foster Invitational, hosted by Texas Wesleyan.

Gianna Panaggio and
Kanu Rajawat won 7-6, [7-5] in No. 1 Doubles over Paulina Hudson and Kaja Brunzlow.
Belen Blasco and
Isabella Stuurman notched a 6-3 victory over Taytum Stafford and Camdyn Sackett in No. 3 Doubles.
Nahia Echaide and
Joline Roesch won by default in No. 2 Doubles.
In Singles, Echaide took down Hudson, 6-1, 6-1 in the second spot. Panaggio captured a 4-6, 6-2, [10-8] win in No. 3 Singles over Brunzlow. In the No. 5 Singles,
Marthe Chopin logged a 6-2, 6-0 victory over Sackett.
Roesch tallied a 6-2, 3-0 [ret.] win in No. 4 Singles over Stafford, leading in the second set before Stafford retired from play. Rajawat and Blasco recorded default victories in the No. 1 and No. 4 Singles.
LSUA takes on Lewis-Clark State College on Thursday, March 6, for their second match of the Steve Foster Invitational.
