ALEXANDRIA, LA – The Louisiana State University of Alexandria softball coaching staff has been named the ATEC/National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) NAIA Region I Coaching Staff of the Year.
 
Alongside LSUA Head Coach Trent Partridge, Brannin Hagan and Richard Partridge guided the Generals to a 47-9 record, including a 26-2 mark in the Red River Athletic Conference. LSUA finished second in the RRAC and earned the top seed in the Fayette, Missouri (Central Methodist) brackets.
 
LSUA eclipsed 40 wins on the season, putting up the highest season win total since 2017.
 
Trent Partridge was named RRAC Coach of the Year and earned his 100^th career victory on April 19 against Louisiana Christian, becoming the fastest coach to 100 wins in LSUA history (145 games).
