THE GENERALS
LSUA split their games last week against Our Lady of the Lake and Texas A&M-San Antonio.
Sydney Person recorded a career-high 30 points in the Generals' loss to TAMUSA. LSUA is now 6-8 on the season and 5-4 in RRAC play.
Person continues to lead the Generals' offense, averaging 13.0 points per game. The freshman is shooting 48.4 percent from the floor and is a perfect 12-for-12 from the free throw line.
LSUA is shooting 40.9 percent as a team and holding their opponents to a shooting percentage of 37.5. The Generals average 67.5 points per game and are allowing 68.4.
SCOUTING XAVIER (LA.)
The Gold Nuggets are 6-7 on the year and 3-5 in RRAC contests. They are 4-4 when playing at home and have lost their last two games.
Shania Swan (13.3), Alicia Blanton (12.6), and Tiarra Tillison (10.8) are all averaging double-digit scoring efforts for XULA. Blanton leads the Gold Nuggets in rebounding, hauling in 6.6 boards per game.
The Gold Nuggets average 61.92 points per game and allow 59.08. They are shooting 38.8 percent from the floor as a unit.
LSUA is 4-4 against Xavier (La.) since 2023. They won the last meeting during the RRAC Championship, 70-63.
SCOUTING SOUTHWEST (N.M.)
The Mustangs are 5-11 on the season and 1-9 in RRAC play. They are 2-6 when playing on the road.
Seniya Wilson leads USW in scoring, averaging 15.5 points per game. Karinna Ortiz (14.2) and Michaela Ray (10.0) are also averaging 10 or more points per game. Wilson is shooting 42.5 percent from the floor.
The Mustangs average 64.08 points per game and allow 76.23. They are shooting 34.3 percent from the floor.
LSUA is 19-3 all-time against Southwest (N.M.). They have won the last five meetings and are 12-1 when playing at home.
SCOUTING NORTH TEXAS-DALLAS
The Trailblazers are 7-5 on the season and 6-4 in RRAC play. It is their first season as a member of the Red River Athletic Conference. They are 3-3 when playing on the road.
De'Asia Johnson leads the Trailblazers in scoring, averaging 15.0 points per game. She is shooting 40.9 percent from the floor. ShanDrea Yeldell (11.3) and Jade Myles (10.8) are also averaging double digit scoring. Johnson also leads UNTD in rebounding, hauling in 7.9 rebounds per game.
The Trailblazers average 69.83 points per game and are allowing 67.25. They are shooting 37.5 percent as a team.
Saturday's game will be the first meeting between UNTD and LSUA.
