THE GENERALS
LSUA is 3-1 on the season and 2-0 in RRAC duals. They most recently defeated No. 8 Loyola University New-Orleans, 4-3.
Nahia Echaide remains undefeated in singles after picking up another victory over Micaela Ponce, 6-1, 6-3. She has played all four of her singles matches at the number one spot.
Isabella Stuurman captured a 6-4, 6-1 victory over Avery Frierson in No. 2 singles.
Joline Roesch notched a 6-2, 6-1 win in the third spot over Juliette Finch.
Ekaterina Orlova rounded out the Generals' singles performance with a 3-6, 7-5, 6-1 win over Avrora Volkova in No. 6 singles.
SCOUTING NO. 12 SCAD SAVANNAH
SCAD Savannah is 1-1 on the season after picking up a 4-3 win over the College of Coastal Georgia in Sun Conference play.
The Bees captured the doubles point with a pair of wins. Nora Louko and Cherry Xiang notched a 6-1 victory. Jess Johnson and Erin Passmore tallied a 7-5 victory in number three doubles. The top pairing of Alessia Piccolori and Asia Liverani were in the tiebreaker when the doubles point was decided.
In singles, SCAD Savannah recorded wins at numbers two, five, and six. Piccoliori notched a 6-1, 6-3 win in the two spot. Liverani went up 4-0 in the number five singles before her opponent retired. Jess Johnson rounded out the victory with a 7-5, 6-1 win in the number six singles.
SCOUTING COLLEGE OF COASTAL GEORGIA
Coastal Georgia is 1-2 on the season and have lost their last two matches.
Karlie Scott Kersey is 2-1 in the top singles spot. In the second singles spot, Gabriella Rodrigues is 1-2. Manon Baudet (1-0) and Luna Feillon (1-1) have both recorded wins in the third spot. Freya Zayyan is 2-1 in number six singles.
Coastal Georgia is 3-4 overall in doubles. Kersey and Feillon are 1-1 in the top doubles pairing. Gabriella Miteva and Rodrigues are 1-1 in the second pairing, while Zayyan and Buadet are 1-0 in the final doubles spot.
SCOUTING NO. 10 MARIAN UNIVERSITY (IND.)
The Knights are 3-3 on the year and 1-0 in conference. They are coming off a 7-0 win over the University of Saint Francis (ind.) in Crossroads League action.
They swept the doubles matches with Michelle Irigoyen and Jimena Rivera Flores recording a 6-0 win at No. 2 doubles. Liliane Alinquant and Ana Barbosa Fernandez also won 6-0 at No. 3 doubles. Yasmin Imamniyazova and Emma Chrome finished up doubles with a 6-1 win.
Flores swept both sets in No. 3 singles, 6-0, as did Irigoyen at No. 2 singles. Imamnyiazova then recorded a 6-2, 6-0 win in No. 1 singles. Elisa Roccaforte notched a 6-1, 6-0 win at No. 5 singles. Chrome then tallied a 6-2, 6-1 win at No. 4 singles. Maggie Bertram finished the match with a pair of 6-0 sets.
