ALEXANDRIA, LA – The No. 5/8 Louisiana State University of Alexandria women's tennis team travels to Florida for a pair of matches against St. Thomas University and Florida National University.

THE GENERALS
LSUA is 5-2 on the season and have won their last two matches. They beat College of Coastal Georgia, 6-1, on March 3 and then-ranked No. 10 Marian University (Ind.) 4-0 on March 5.
Nahia Echaide is ranked No. 11 in the ITA's NAIA Women's Tennis Singles Rankings, while
Isabella Stuurman came in at No. 18. In doubles, Echaide and
Lucie Ivanova are ranked No. 20 by the ITA.
Echaide is 5-1 on the season with all six matches coming at the top spot in singles. Stuurman is 5-2 as the Generals' number two singles player.
Ivanova is undefeated this season in doubles, posting a 6-0 record thus far.
SCOUTING NO. 14 ST. THOMAS (FLA.)
The Bobcats are 3-9 on the season but have won their last two matches. They swept Midland University, 7-0, on March 12 before taking down St. Thomas Aquinas, 6-1.
STU has recorded a 5-5 record in number two singles but are just 3-8 in the top slot.
In doubles, the third pairings have compiled a 7-4 record.
SCOUTING FLORIDA NATIONAL UNIVERSITY
Florida National University is 0-0 on the season. They have played just one exhibition against Barry University in which they lost 7-0.
