ALEXANDRIA, LA – The Louisiana State University of Alexandria baseball travels to Hawkins, Texas for a three-game series against Jarvis Christian University in Red River Athletic Conference play.

THE GENERALS
Entering the sixth week of RRAC play, the Generals have an overall record of 22-10, and are 11-4 in conference..
 
Dalton Wilson leads the Generals with an average of .405 and has scored 40 runs. Cade LaBruyere leads LSUA in runs batted in with 37 and is tied for the team lead in home runs (4) with Wilson. Landon Langley (.350), Trevor Dooley (.330), LaBruyere (.318), Lane Kratzer (.310), and Fischer Einkauf (.300), and Evan Rohlfs-Schadel (.300) are all hitting .300 or above on the season. LSUA are slashing .306/.449/.447 as a team, with 307 runs scored and 112 stolen bases.
 
Five players have registered 10 or more stolen bases on the season, led by Wilson' 23. He has been thrown out just four times. LaBruyere (15), Langley (13), Patin (13), and Dooley (11) are also over 10. Dooley is a perfect 11-for-11 on the year.
 
Michael Sutton continues to lead the pitching staff with a 5-3 record, holding an ERA of 4.25. He has tossed 42.1 innings for the Generals, while recording 30 strikeouts and a WHIP of 1.42. Carter Fabre threw five shutout innings last weekend against Texas College. He allowed just two hits and struck out seven. Fabre is holding opposing hitters to an average of just .239 on the season.LSUA has a team ERA of 6.24 and a WHIP of 1.75.
 
SCOUTING JARVIS CHRISTIAN UNIVERSITY
The Bulldogs are 0-22 overall, and 0-15 in RRAC play.
 
Terry William leads the offensive line with a batting average of .265, 15 RBI's, and an OBP of .324. JCU has a slash line of .238/.317/.317, 64 runs driven in and 16 stolen bases.
 
For the pitching staff, Gregory Alacron has a record of 0-4 over 37.1 innings with 21 strikeouts and a WHIP of 2.89. The Bulldogs have posted a team ERA of 15.13 and a WHIP of 3.24.
 
LSUA is 34-18 all-time against Jarvis Christian University.
