ALEXANDRIA, LA – The Louisiana State University of Alexandria baseball travels to William Carey University for a midweek game and then hosts Texas A&M University-Victoria for a three-game series in Red River Athletic Conference play.

THE GENERALS
LSUA is coming off a three-game sweep over Jarvis Christian and have won six consecutive games. They are 14-8 when playing at home. They are currently 25-10 on the season and 14-4 in RRAC contests.
 
Landon Langley drove in seven runs last week against the Bulldogs. He is riding a 10-game hitting streak. Langley has raised his average to .345 on the season. He has recorded 10 extra base hits and driven in 38 runs on the season, while stealing 13 bases. The Generals have posted a .305 average as a team with an on-base percentage of .444 and a slugging percentage of .449.
 
LSUA has stolen 121 bases, putting them third all-time in a single season in LSUA history. They are currently 33 stolen bases shy of tying the 154 set by the 2019 team.
 
The Generals' rotation of Michael Sutton, Seth Leger, and Carter Fabre has produced an 18-6 record between the three. They have combined for 106 strikeouts and a WHIP of 1.50.
 
??SCOUTING NO. 13 WILLIAM CAREY
The Crusaders are 24-11 overall, and 10-5 in the Southern States Athletic Conference play. Their home record is 14-6 after losing two of the three games against University of Mobile last week. They are 10-5 when playing away from home.
 
Hays Carley leads the offensive line with a batting average of .387, 36 runs scored, and an OBP of .504. Deejay Booth has supplied the power with six home runs and 37 runs batted in. William Carey has a slash line of .303/.443/.448, 222 runs and 60 stolen bases.
 
For the pitching staff, Matthew Davis has a record of 7-1, holding an ERA of 2.77. He has tossed 52.0 innings, 59 strikeouts, and a WHIP of 1.21. The Crusaders have posted a team ERA of 4.45 and a WHIP of 1.59.
 
The Generals are 6-27 all-time against William Carey University.
 
SCOUTING (RV) TEXAS A&M - VICTORIA
The Jaguars are 27-9 overall, and 16-2 in Conference play. They are currently on a 14-game winning streak after sweeping No. 1 LSU Shreveport in their game series this past weekend.
 
Antonio Benitez leads the Jaguars' offense with an average of .387. He has posted an on-base percentage of .479 and tallied 14 extra base hits. Garrett Smith leads the Jags with 10 home runs and 44 runs batted in. A&M-Victoria is slashing ,325/.438/.468 as a team.
 
In the pitching staff, Jonathan Jones, Jacob Baker, and Blane Zeplin have combined for a 21-4 record. The trio have combined for 185 strikeouts. Zeplin has a team-best 2.37 ERA, while Baker has posted a WHIP of just 1.14.
 
LSUA is 15-35 all-time against Texas A&M University - Victoria.
