RRAC CHAMIONSHIP OPENING ROUND
This year, the RRAC Championship features a best-of-three series in the opening round. Each game will be nine innings. The third game of the series will only be played, if necessary, should the series be tied after the second game.
THE GENERALS
LSUA posted a 32-13 overall record in the 2026 season. They finished with a 20-7 record in RRAC contests.
This weekend's series marks the first time Generals Baseball Field has ever hosted a postseason event.
The Generals hit .297 as a team with 18 home runs and 404 runs scored. They swiped 138 bases, the second most in program history.
Dalton Wilson leads the Generals offensively with an average of .356, six home runs, and 26 stolen bases. Cade LaBruyere has a team-high 50 runs batted in.
On the mound, LSUA's pitching staff has posted an ERA of 5.57 and struck out 291 hitters.
Michael Sutton and
Carter Fabre have both recorded eight wins on the season.
Nash Tamplet has recorded a team-high four saves.
LSUA swept A&M-Texarkana on the road in February. They captured a pair of one-run victories in the first two games of the series, before finalizing the sweep with a 13-10 win.
SCOUTING TEXAS A&M-TEXARKANA
The Eagles enter the RRAC Championship as the six-seed after posting a 26-23 overall record and a mark of 14-13 in conference play.
TAMUT is 11-9 when playing on the road in 2026. They closed the regular season with a three-game sweep over Xavier University (La.), scoring at least 11 runs in all three games.
The Eagles are hitting .326 as a team with 48 home runs and 504 runs scored. They have recorded 172 extra base hits and 143 stolen bases. Tobin Jones leads the Eagles with an average of .380. He is slugging .610 with an on-base percentage of .536. Jayce Blalock has a team-high six home runs while James Provenico leads the Eagles with 46 runs batted in.
The Eagle's pitching staff has posted a team ERA of 6.96 and an opposing average against of .279. Matthew Hart is the only Eagles pitcher to make 10 starts on the season. He posted a 2-4 record with an ERA of 7.97. Tanner Duncan has made seven starts and has a record of 3-2 with an ERA of 6.37.
