THE GENERALS
Entering the eight week of RRAC play, LSUA is 28-11 overall and 16-5 in conference.
LSUA took two games from No. 10 Texas A&M-Victoria last week.
Nash Tamplet recorded two saves in the series, bringing his season total to three. The Generals also notched a 3-2 win over No. 13 William Carey University last Tuesday.
Brett Batteford drove in the go-ahead run in the ninth before Tamplet came on for the save.

SCOUTING SOUTHEASTERN UNIVERSITY
The Lions are 19-13 overall, and 10-5 in the Southland Conference play. Their home record is 11-7 after winning two of the three games against University of the Incarnate Word. They are 8-6 when playing away from home.
Peyton Woods leads the offensive line with a batting average of .346, 19 runs scored, and an OBP of .439. Brody Capps has helped the Lions with 27 runs and nine home runs. Southeastern has a slash line of .277/.376/.477 and 226 runs.
For the pitching staff, Lakin Polk has a record of 3-2, holding an ERA of 5.90. He has tossed 39.2 innings, 23 strikeouts, and a WHIP of 1.51. The Lions have posted a team ERA of 5.34 and a WHIP of 1.54.
SCOUTING LOUISIANA CHRISTIAN UNIVERSITY
The Wildcats are 31-7 overall, and 16-5 in RRAC play. They are 23-2 playing at home after winning two of their three games against Our Lady of the Lake this past weekend.
Braden Trull has contributed to the offensive staff with a batting average of .403, 44 runs scored and an on base percentage of .509. The Wildcats have posted a slash line of .332/.438/.494.
In the pitching staff, Kade Linn and Brandon Carter both have a 7-1 record. Carter has tossed 60.0 innings for the Wildcats and striking out 72. Linn pitched for 56.0 innings and strikeout 78.
LSUA is 23-17 all-time against LCU.
