ALEXANDRIA, LA – Louisiana State University of Alexandria men's soccer goalkeeper Jayden Peglar has earned Red River Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Week honors, the RRAC office announced.
 
Peglar recorded a pair of wins last week over Texas Wesleyan University and No. 10 Bethel University.
 
The Generals' win over No. 10 Bethel was a 3-0 clean sheet victory. Peglar made a pair of saves against the Wildcats to keep them off the score sheet.
 
LSUA travels to William Carey University and the University of Mobile in a pair of non-conference matches this week.
