Coleman spent two seasons with the Generals from 2014-2016. He appeared in 58 games and averaged 13.6 points per game. He finished his LSUA career shooting 46.2 percent from the field and 81 percent at the free throw line. Coleman is third all-time for career assists at LSUA with 252 and is first in assists per game at 4.3. During his two seasons at LSUA, the Generals won a pair of Red River Athletic Conference Regular Season Championships. Coleman was an NAIA All-American Honorable Mention in 2014-15, before earning First Team NAIA All-America honors during 2015-16.
