Box Score HAWKINS, Texas – The Louisiana State University of Alexandria women's basketball team won their first road game of 2025, 78-69, over Jarvis Christian University.
"Jarvis did a great job pushing the ball," LSUA Head Coach Billy Perkins said. "But I am very proud of our effort and getting the win."
The Generals (13-5, 10-4 RRAC) stormed out to a 12-3 lead in the first five minutes. The Bulldogs (2-11, 2-10) cut LSUA's lead to two, 17-15 by the end of the first quarter. At halftime, the Bulldogs led 35-33.
LSUA outscored JCU 24-18 in the third quarter for a 57-53 lead through three periods.
Benedetta Peracchi led the Generals with 21 points, while
Jewel Jones finished with 19.
Amani Gray (12) and
Dannah Martin-Hartwick (11) rounded out the double-digit scorers for LSUA. Gray recorded her third double-double of the season, hauling in 13 rebounds.
The Generals are back in action on Saturday, January 18, as they travel to Texas College for another Red River Athletic Conference contest. Tip-off is scheduled for 1:00 PM.
