ALEXANDRIA, LA – The (RV) Louisiana State University of Alexandria men's soccer team's season continues into the NAIA National Championship First Round, the NAIA announced today.
 
The Generals (14-3-1) will travel to Marietta, Georgia to take on Milligan University (11-6-2) in the NAIA National Championship First Round at Life University on Thursday, November 20.
 
LSUA finished second in the Red River Athletic Conference with a record of 9-1-1. They defeated two ranked opponents in the regular season, taking down No. 3 William Carey in their season opener and No. 22 Xavier (La.) in the regular season finale.
 
It is the fourth time the Generals have made an appearance in the NAIA National Championship. It is the first time since the 2021 spring season. This season's at-large bid marks the first in program history.
 
LSUA and Milligan have never faced each other.
